Location: West Jordan, UT
Pay Rate: $65/hr
Schedule: 5x8 shifts — Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm (Friday & Saturday OFF)
Contract Length: 3 months, potential to extend based on business needs
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Pharmacist to provide high-quality clinical services, including immunizations and MTM interventions. This role ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines, supports patient engagement, and contributes to a positive healthcare experience. Ideal candidates deliver exceptional service, uphold professional standards, and maintain strong clinical knowledge.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience
- Greet and engage customers, offering support with products and services.
- Resolve customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Demonstrate and model strong customer service practices, including proactive assistance, courteous interactions, and attentive communication.
- Build relationships with high-value patients by anticipating needs and recommending appropriate services.
- Enhance the patient experience by focusing on healthcare services such as:
- Medication management
- Patient consultations
- Drug therapy reviews
- Immunizations, flu shots, diabetes awareness, and other wellness services
- Support the ongoing shift of pharmacy operations from transactional service to an interpersonal, patient-centered care model.
Operational Duties
- Provide clinical services such as immunizations and MTM interventions while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliant dispensing practices, including full execution of Good Faith Dispensing policies and federal/state controlled substance laws.
- Maintain responsibility for product review and retail fill processes, ensuring prescription accuracy and safety.
Training & Professional Development
- Stay current with pharmacy and healthcare trends through ongoing education, reading professional journals, and reviewing internal communications.
- Pursue continuous professional development and complete all required certifications, CE credits, and internal training modules.
- Maintain active awareness of best practices in retail pharmacy, clinical services, and patient care.
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacist licensure in the state of Utah
- Certified Immunizer
- Strong interest in clinical services, patient interaction, and customer experience improvement
