Job Description
  • Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions, and prepares IVs.
  • Assists with entering data into computer systems to fill prescriptions and obtain reimbursement payments.
  • Prepares medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations.
  • Assists in final checking of filled prescriptions, including medication statements for final review and packaging.
  • Maintains inventory by receiving and rotating medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, and tracking expiration dates.
  • Coordinates accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
Critical Information
  • Shifts: 10:30am–7:00pm, 12:00pm–8:30pm, with some Saturday shifts (9:30am–6:00pm).
  • Onsite work environment.
  • Includes compliance and safety practices; work is performed under direct supervision.
Education/Licenses Needed
  • Pharmacy Tech License
