Pharmacy Technician
Location: Worthington, OH 43085
Pay: $25.01 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. This position will assist with prescription filling, IV preparation, medication packaging, billing data entry, inventory management, and delivery coordination.
Key Responsibilities

Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Work with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription information into the computer system and assist with reimbursement processing.

Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and applicable government regulations.

Assist the Pharmacist with final prescription checking by preparing medications for RPh review and packaging medications following final approval.

Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.

Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating incoming medications and pharmacy supplies.

Maintain accurate lot numbers and expiration dates.

Assist with physical inventory and inventory control activities.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.

Work with the Technician Supervisor to ensure equipment is properly calibrated, safe, and clean.

Follow pharmacy procedures, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Experience with prescription filling, IV preparation, medication packaging, or pharmacy operations is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter prescription and billing information.

Ability to work effectively under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to follow established pharmacy procedures and safety standards.
Compensation
$25.01 per hour
