Job Description:
The Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill position involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at a Central Fill pharmacy in Southwest Everett, WA (98204), responsible for supplying patient-level prescriptions for a large retail national chain. This role is focused on high-volume automation with no patient interaction, phone handling, or dealing with insurance companies.
Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill Schedule & Location:
- Schedule:
- Sunday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Monday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Friday: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
- Location: Southwest Everett, WA 98204 (United States)
Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill Salary/Wage:
- $26.00 per hour
Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill Duties:
- Accurately fill and verify prescriptions in a high-volume, automated environment
- Assist with packing and shipping prescriptions
- Replenish medication in automated dispensing systems
- Perform quality assurance checks on medications for expiration, damage, and correctness
- Maintain inventory management, including weekly cycle counts
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician License required
- National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Repetitive tasks such as filling prescriptions, scanning, and packaging
- Must be able to lift boxes and containers up to 30 lbs
Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required
