PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - CUSTOMER SUPPORT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: San Antonio, TX – Remote after training

- Training on-site, local candidates only
- Payrate: $18/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time

- Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST (onsite for 4 weeks)
- After Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM CST
- Weekend Rotation: Rotating Saturdays or permanent Sundays (not both)
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - CUSTOMER SUPPORT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacy Technician will handle incoming calls and requests related to pharmacy operations, shipping, finance, and eligibility. This role involves frequent phone interaction with members and prescribers, serving as the first point of contact before pharmacist involvement.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - CUSTOMER SUPPORT | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle incoming calls and requests submitted to Participant Services.
- Resolve issues related to pharmacy operations, shipping, customer care, finance, claims processing, and eligibility.
- Partner with other departments to ensure timely resolution of member inquiries.
- Manage multiple queues and databases to research and document information accurately.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for members and prescribers before pharmacist involvement.
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - CUSTOMER SUPPORT | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License or Trainee License in good standing (required).
- 6+ months of pharmacy tech experience required
- Previous experience working in a call center setting
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
