Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• Pay: $16.50–$22.00 per hour (max)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:30 PM; must be able to close at least 1 night/week (10:00 AM–6:30 PM)
  (A defined schedule will be provided at onboarding.)
• Onsite position
• Temporary assignment (approx. 13 weeks)
• Openings: 3
• Location: Frisco, TX 75033

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and distribution of drug products
• Prepare prescription medications using the fulfillment system
• Process prescription exceptions, including:
  • Resolving claim rejects
  • Member and physician outreach
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the system
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member issues
• Escalate prescription questions to a Pharmacist as needed
• Assist with inbound/outbound patient or physician calls
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Must be licensed/registered and certified as required by the state
  • Will accept a trainee license if it has at least 1 year before expiration
• Basic computer skills
• Physical requirements:
  • Ability to stand 8+ hours
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (with cart assistance)
  • Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach
  • Ability to complete repetitive work
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
