Pharmacy Technician (Intake / Data Entry)

Location: Cary, NC 27513 (Hybrid after onsite training)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM. Training is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM onsite for the first several weeks.
Pay: $22.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • Review referral/prescription contents for completeness and accuracy
  • Create and update patient profiles from scanned/faxed documents
  • Enter patient/provider data accurately (including identifiers such as NPI)
  • Perform initial prescription checks for processing readiness
  • Contact provider offices for missing information, clarifications, and referral status updates
  • Maintain concise progress notes so downstream teams can process efficiently
  • Navigate multiple systems while maintaining speed, accuracy, and HIPAA compliance
