Pharmacy Technician Compensation

The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour.

Benefits:

• Available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Midshift 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Monday - Friday, with possible weekends)

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into the system for prescriptions and reimbursement payments
• Prepackage medication for dispensing in compliance with government regulations
• Assist the Pharmacist in final checking of prescriptions, stating medication for review, packaging, and coordinating delivery
• Maintain inventory accuracy, including receiving, rotating stock, posting lot numbers, and expiration dates
• Help keep a clean and safe work environment, including equipment calibration and safety checks

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• Valid/Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

• Prior pharmacy or healthcare experience is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
