Job Description
- Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
- Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
- Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity.
- Ensure proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.
- Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
Critical Information
- 2nd Shift: Monday 1pm-11:30pm, Tuesday - Friday 2pm-11pm, Saturday 12pm-8:30pm
- Work location: Onsite
- Candidate must have a valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License.
- Candidates should live within a reasonable driving distance of Jeffersonville, IN.
Education/Licenses Needed
- Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous pharmacy experience
