Pharmacy Technician Pay and Schedule

• $24.45/hour
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Onsite in Hudson, MA
• Contract-to-hire opportunity

Pharmacy Technician Job Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations and order fulfillment
• Complete a filing project expected to take approximately 40 hours
• Assemble boxes and assist with cold-chain materials, including loading and unloading ice
• Answer incoming phone calls and take messages
• Retrieve labs and prepare them for faxing
• Pick and pack supplies such as syringes, gauze, and ice
• Dispatch orders by scanning items into the system, checking for accuracy, and printing labels
• Provide general operational support in a short-staffed pharmacy environment

Pharmacy Technician Duties

• Work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Help fill prescriptions and support IV preparation
• Enter prescription and billing information into pharmacy systems
• Assist with medication prepackaging according to company standards and regulations
• Support final verification and packaging processes
• Help coordinate accurate and timely medication delivery
• Assist with inventory control, including stock rotation and expiration date tracking
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy work area

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
• Healthcare support experience is helpful
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed
• Reliable and team-oriented
