Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician – Job Details

• Location: Hudson, MA 01749 (100% onsite)
• Pay Rate: $22.92 per hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  (Must stay until work is completed)
• On-Call: Rotation every 3rd weekend
• Job Type: Contract-to-hire opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile IV medications , including antibiotics and TPN, in compliance with USP guidelines
• Perform aseptic technique and maintain strict sterile compounding standards
• Maintain and clean ISO-classified clean room environments
• Conduct environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Manage clean room inventory , supplies, and medication stock rotation
• Assist with medication prepackaging, labeling, and data entry
• Coordinate timely and accurate medication delivery
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated, sanitized, and compliant
• Follow all pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Massachusetts
• 1+ year of sterile compounding experience required
• Hands-on experience with:
  • IV compounding
  • Antibiotics and TPN preparation
  • Clean room protocols
• Strong knowledge of USP guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
• Reliable attendance, especially during the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Home infusion pharmacy experience
• Experience with environmental monitoring and compliance tracking
• Familiarity with pharmacy workflow systems and documentation
