Pharmacy Technician Job Description:
The Pharmacy Technician is a key member of the dispensing team, responsible for preparing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely fulfillment and shipment of medications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and effective communication with internal teams.

Pharmacy Technician Schedule & Location:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Onsite – Irving, TX 75063, United States

Pharmacy Technician Salary/Wage:

• $19.00/hour

Pharmacy Technician Duties:
• Pull and fill patient prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
• Prepare medications for verification and delivery
• Package prescriptions accurately with appropriate documentation
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA
• Keep workstations clean and organized
• Support inventory, stocking, and other operational tasks
• Prioritize workload to meet service level goals
• Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks

Pharmacy Technician Required Qualifications:
• Active Pharmacy Technician License with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy technician experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Pharmacy Technician Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and reach outward frequently
• Ability to push/pull and lift/carry up to 15 lbs

Pharmacy Technician Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
