Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications, and maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Pharmacy Technician Schedule & Location:
- Location: Jeffersonville, IN 47130
- Schedule:
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Pharmacy Technician Salary/Wage:
- Pay: $18.95/hour
Pharmacy Technician Duties:

Medication Dispensing:
- Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
- Measure, count, and package medications according to orders.
- Replenish medication inventory in automated cells to full capacity.
- Ensure proper labeling and instructions for patient use.

Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent medication expiration.

Compliance and Documentation:
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
Pharmacy Technician Required Qualifications:
- Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (non-negotiable).
- Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.
- Strong accountability and ability to stay on task.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Previous pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
Pharmacy Technician Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
- Consistently lift and carry 20–30 lbs.
- Occasionally carry 15 lbs. of merchandise over an extended period.
Pharmacy Technician Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
