Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry + Fulfillment Support)
Location: Lewisville, TX (On-site)
Schedule: On-site; may include weekend/holiday/night/on-call shifts
Pay: $22.00/hr
Summary
Hiring a dependable Pharmacy Technician to support prescription data entry, refill initiation, call support, and fulfillment operations. This Pharmacy Technician position is hands-on and fast-moving—ideal for someone who’s accurate, alert, and takes pride in doing things the right way in a pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities
- Prescription data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and speed
- Start refill requests and support inbound/outbound phone calls
- Resolve order issues using critical thinking and clear communication
- Support fulfillment: scan, label, and pack orders with attention to detail
- Maintain safety, integrity, and professionalism while following pharmacy procedures
- Work effectively in a small-team environment where cooperation is required
- Manage constant workflow interruptions while staying organized and productive
- Meet physical demands including lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs as needed
Qualifications
- HS Diploma (or equivalent) required
- Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required
- Prior IV prep experience required
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to prioritize under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills and reliable attendance
- Comfortable with a fast-paced pharmacy setting and frequent task switching
