Shift Options
- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST
- 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST
- 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM EST
- 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM EST
- 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM EST
- Weekday/Weekend Option: Monday–Wednesday 10:30 AM–7:00 PM EST + Saturday/Sunday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST
Position Overview
We are seeking Pharmacy Technicians – Phone Support to join our growing specialty pharmacy team. This is a patient-facing, onsite role responsible for providing high-quality phone support to oncology patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Technicians will handle inbound calls, coordinate deliveries, and resolve inquiries efficiently to ensure each patient receives timely and accurate care.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients, caregivers, and physician office staff to resolve questions or concerns.
- Coordinate prescription deliveries and collect co-payments as needed.
- Provide a high level of customer service using first-call resolution best practices.
- Triage calls to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Accurately document all interactions in pharmacy systems.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists, technicians, and support staff to ensure patient satisfaction and compliance.
Requirements
- Licensed or registered Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy (BOP) in the applicable state of employment.
- PTCB certification preferred.
- Prior experience in a specialty pharmacy or healthcare call center is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work onsite during assigned shift hours.
