Pharmacy Technician Compensation:

• The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights:

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and variable start times
• Onsite position in Overland Park, KS

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing IV medications
• Work with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into the system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement
• Prepackage medications for dispensing per regulatory standards
• Support final prescription checking and packaging for pharmacist review
• Ensure accurate and timely medication delivery
• Maintain inventory by receiving, rotating, and logging medications and supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring equipment calibration and cleanliness

Pharmacy Technician Requirements:

• Kansas Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus
