PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Everett, WA 98203 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $26/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | (Sunday – Thursday)
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Monday – Thursday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Note: Mandatory overtime (often up to 1 hour per day) may be required based on business needs.
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacy Technician will work in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join a central fill pharmacy team. This role focuses entirely on high-volume automation, "pick-pack-ship" operations, and pharmacy production. There is no patient interaction, no phone answering, and no insurance processing involved.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fulfillment: Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules based on computer-generated orders.
- Automation & Replenishment: Replenish automated dispensing cells; open large quantities of stock and use handheld scanners to track barcodes, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
- Specialty Handling: Prepare "cold chain" and specialty prescriptions that require specific temperature-controlled packing and handling.
- Inventory Control: Conduct weekly cycle counts and audits of cell inventory to ensure accuracy between primary and secondary bin locations.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of focus to prevent cross-contamination and ensure all products meet safety standards.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to federal and state HIPAA laws and standard pharmacy operating procedures.
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Licensure: Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician License is required.
- Certification: National certification (PTCB or ExCPT) is required.
- Basic mathematical reasoning for counting/calculating units and strong computer literacy for navigating fulfillment software.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work onsite 5 days a week and stand/walk for the duration of the shift in a production environment.
- Safety-first attitude, acute attention to detail, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks with absolute accuracy.
