Job description:
This is a full-time Pharmacy Technician position responsible for refilling and replenishing prescription requests in a fast-paced, production-based environment. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the technician will prepare packages and distribute medications using automated refill equipment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory, performing quality checks, and ensuring a consistent workflow to meet production goals.

Job Name Schedule & location:
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with mandatory overtime. Candidates should be flexible to transition to a Sunday-Thursday schedule (Sunday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) after 6 weeks based on business needs.
Location: West Sacramento, CA 95605.

Job Name Salary/Wage:
$22.97 per hour

Job Name Duties:

• Refill and replenish prescription requests in an automated setting.
• Prepare, package, and distribute medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain inventory, perform cycle counts, and replenish medications.
• Operate automated equipment to fill prescriptions with accuracy.
• Ensure the proper handling, storage, and labeling of pharmaceuticals.
• Assist in receiving and storing incoming supplies, and shipping orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Job Name Required Qualification:

• High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s Degree in Science preferred).
• Pharmacy Technician license required and must remain valid throughout employment.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy or warehouse environment.
• Ability to work with automated equipment and computer systems.
• HIPAA Certification required.

Job Name Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods (8 hours or more per day).
• Must be able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds.
• Requires bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping.
• Ability to select and lift objects from shelves and carry them to the order filling line.

Job Name Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate’s Degree in Science preferred
