Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour

• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

• The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (must be flexible to stay later if needed)

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs

• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into the system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement processing

• Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing according to government regulations

• Support Pharmacists by preparing prescriptions for final review and coordinating accurate and timely deliveries

• Maintain inventory, including receiving and rotating stock, posting lot numbers, and tracking expiration dates

• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• Must have an active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License

• High School Diploma or GED

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
