Pharmacy Technician Compensation

The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (must be flexible to stay later if needed)
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs

Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into the system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement processing

Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing according to government regulations

Support Pharmacists by preparing prescriptions for final review and coordinating accurate and timely deliveries

Maintain inventory, including receiving and rotating stock, posting lot numbers, and tracking expiration dates

Ensure a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
Pharmacy Technician Requirements

Must have an active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License

High School Diploma or GED

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a pharmacy setting

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
