Pharmacy Technician Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $19 - $20 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

  • The required availability for this position:
    • Monday – Friday 9am to 5:30pm

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
The Filling Technician is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc

  • Delivery of prescription medical devices
  • Prepare and repackage devices accurately
  • Maintain in-date inventory
  • Order entry and billing of insurance for devices
  • Strong communication /professional demeanor with team members, cross functionally within the business and with outside vendors
  • Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
  • Works on basic and routine assignments
  • Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods
  • Adheres to all quality guidelines
  • Works under close supervision. All work is reviewed for accuracy
  • Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding
  • Fulfillment of prescription device products; shipping
  • Prescription order entry

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

  • Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in OH
  • CPhT (Ohio or National)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
