Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $21 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Shift: 9-5:30pm M-F

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• The Filling Technician is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product.
• This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc.
• Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
• What is expected of you and others at this level
• Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
• Readily learns and applies new information and methods
• Works on basic and routine assignments
• Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures
• Adheres to all quality guidelines
• All work is reviewed for accuracy
• Able to stand for long periods of time and able to handle picking up/ carrying weight up to 25lbs
• Fulfillment of prescriptions; shipping Prescription order entry

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail, mailorder and/or warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Must provide Active Registration with OH BOP; CPhT (Ohio or National)
• Must provide proof of up to date Technician CEs
