Pharmacy Technician Overview:

• Must be Registered with OH BOP or Certified through PTCB

• Shift: 9am-5:30pm M-F

• Onsite in Twinsburg, OH 44087 in a medical/closed door pharmacy

• Pay Rate: $19-$21/hour, paid biweekly

  • Based on experience and license level
• Contract to hire, intended to convert before or by 02/02/2024

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:

• Objective: Delivery of prescription medical devices; prepare and repackage devices accurately; maintain in-date inventory; order entry and billing of insurance for devices; strong communication /professional demeanor with team members, cross functionally within the business and with outside vendors. 
• Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
• Fulfillment of prescription device products; shipping
• Prescription order entry
• Billing experience preferred
• Inbound patient calls
• Outbound physician calls
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
• Works on basic and routine assignments
• Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods
• Adheres to all quality guidelines 
• Works under supervision. All work is reviewed for accuracy
• Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding 

Pharmacy Technician Required Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or GE

• 1+ years in retail/LTC/mailorder experience

• Must provide Active Registration with OH BOP; CPhT (Ohio or National)

• Must provide proof of up to date Technician CEs
