Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour.
• The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM with mandatory overtime.
• This position is On-Site.
• This position is a Full-Time role with the potential for permanent placement after meeting performance and attendance standards.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Technician will refill and replenish prescription requests in an automated refill setting. Responsibilities include filling bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, including refrigerated items. The technician will use equipment to fill bottles and verify medications.
• The technician will perform cycle counts and maintain inventory of medications, as well as replenish medications and monitor for expired pharmaceuticals.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work floor is required.
• The Pharmacy Technician will assist with receiving and storing incoming supplies, process orders for shipping, and sort and prepare prescriptions for shipping, including packing paperwork with prescriptions.
• The technician must adhere to policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with the company’s shared ICARE principles.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in science is preferred.
• A Pharmacy Technician license is required, as well as HIPAA Certification.
• Candidates must have working knowledge of pharmacy operations, and warehouse experience is a plus.
• Good computer skills are also required.
• Candidates must be willing to work in a high-volume, production-based environment and meet hourly standards.
