Pharmacy Technician (2nd Shift) – Jeffersonville, IN (Onsite)
Location: Jeffersonville, IN (Onsite)
Pay: $18.00–$19.23/hr + $1.00/hr shift differential
Schedule: Mon 1:00 PM–11:30 PM; Tue–Fri 2:00 PM–11:00 PM; Sat 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
Job Summary
Hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support accurate prescription fulfillment in a quality-focused, regulated environment. Prior pharmacy experience is not required, but you must be comfortable handling prescription products, meeting strict accuracy standards, and moving efficiently throughout a full shift. Non-negotiable: you must be able to obtain an Indiana Pharmacy Technician in Training license within 2 weeks of your start date, and be willing to pursue national certification (CPhT).
Responsibilities
- Prepare, count, package, and label prescription medications per order
- Replenish medication in automated cells (opening bottles/cases and stocking product)
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow pharmacy safety procedures
- Support inventory tasks, including stock rotation to prevent expirations
- Follow HIPAA and pharmacy regulations; assist with documentation/recordkeeping
- Stand/walk throughout shift; lift/carry product as required
Requirements (Must Have)
- High School Diploma/GED
- Able to work onsite and commute reliably to Jeffersonville, IN
- Willing/able to obtain IN Pharmacy Tech in Training license within 2 weeks of start
- Willing to obtain CPhT (national pharmacy certification)
- Strong attention to detail; quality focused; stays on task; accountable; team-oriented
- Able to lift/carry 20–30 lbs short distances and remain on feet for the full shift
