Phlebotomist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $17.00 an hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Phlebotomist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 9:45am-6:15pm. M-F, No holidays, weekends or on call

Phlebotomist Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and other blood collection methods in accordance with established standards.
• Accurately enter patient and test data into the laboratory computer system.
• Manage patient flow and ensure proper handling of blood samples.
• Assist with various laboratory and clinical duties as needed.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, processing a high volume of patients.
• Adhere to safety protocols and patient confidentiality at all times.

Phlebotomist Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in venipuncture.
• Experience with straight needles and handling 30-50 tubes per day.
• Ability to perform blood draws for transplant patients.
• High volume experience, with the ability to see over 300 patients daily.
• Must know how to draw transplant patients
• Must be comfortable with frequent walking and using stairs.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
