Job Description
- Provide physical therapy to patients of all age groups.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being.
- Document and complete a Plan of Care (POC) and clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis.
- Plan and provide treatment for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders.
- Instruct patients and their families on the use of therapy equipment and transfer techniques.
- Educate patients and families regarding therapeutic procedures tailored to individual needs.
- Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions in patient care activities.
- Schedule includes flexible hours with no on-call; 1 Saturday per month.
- Work in Benewah, Kootenai, Shoshone, and Bonner counties.
- 32 hours guaranteed per week.
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program.
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist.
- Proof of current CPR certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
