Family Practice Physician Compensation
- The salary for this position is $250,000 – $280,000 per year
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
- Direct hire with potential for long-term growth
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers
- Weekends and evening shifts as necessary
- Perform medical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, minor surgical procedures, follow-up consultations, and health education
- Educate patients and families about preventive care, medical issues, and prescribed treatments
- Request referrals for specialty services, labs, and tests
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Oversee clinical support staff, including Midlevel Practitioners and Medical Assistants
- Assist in developing and implementing clinical protocols
- Participate in the planning and implementation of new clinical programs
- Provide in-service training for staff as needed
- Provide backup support for mid-level practitioners, reviewing charts and providing guidance
- Work in a collaborative environment with all departments to ensure smooth patient flow
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Valid and current California Medical License
- Board Eligible or Certified in Family Practice (must become certified within 2 years if Board Eligible)
- Current DEA Registration
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check
- One year of directly related experience
- Community or Public Health experience
- Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based tools
- Experience working with a diverse patient population
- Sitting, standing, and walking in a medical office environment
- Moderate physical activity, including bending, stretching, and lifting
- Exposure to potential hazards requiring protective equipment (OSHA training provided)
- May supervise medical interns, medical students, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants
