Rate: 50-59/hr on w-2 (No C2C)

 

Portfolio & Delivery Management (PDM) is responsible for building and sustaining enhanced capabilities that support efficient management and execution of the Enterprise Marketing portfolio. PDM drives operational efficiency and excellence in execution by building, using and monitoring processes and tools that optimize the way that the Enterprise Marketing organization works. This role will be a part of the Portfolio & Delivery Management Team reporting to the Director, Marketing Program Delivery. This individual has the ability drive efficient execution of Enterprise programs through wholistic program management and workstream/timeline project management. This role will serve as a liaison between Business Partners, Marketing Strategy, Executive Leadership and Internal/External Creative Agencies to drive efficient and effective execution of work while ensuring that there is visibility to the on-going status of the programs. This role will also be responsible for coordinating and driving the successful completion of strategically important projects for the Marketing Department at the macro- business unit level(s), including prioritization, project planning and communication.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage multiple concurrent high visibility workstreams and scopes across the Enterprise.
  • Oversee all aspects of projects: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, assessing and mitigating risks, closing
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to key team members, including executive leadership
  • Lead status meetings with C-suite and executive level leadership: capture, store, and distribute meeting notes
  • Drive productive and value driven conversations with C-suite executives
  • Be a point of escalation for all issues and changes to existing plans. Develop risk logs, mitigation plans and manage communication of such to executive leadership.
  • Build strong “trusted advisor” relationships with Executives and Business Partners across the organization to ensure that marketing programs for the Enterprise meet deadlines.
  • Build rapport and respect with stakeholders to impact and influence outcomes beneficial to the business and the project.
  • Be able to negotiate compromises, have difficult conversations, and manage up/across/down within and across teams in a positive and collaborative spirit.
  • Develop/analyze/maintain reports and dashboards to inform on program status and areas of operational improvement
  • Provide thought-leadership recommendations on executional excellence based on operational data.
  • Lead collaborative planning efforts with internal and external resources to deliver work that is on-time and on-budget.
  • Ability to manage a program budget, including collaboration with enterprise finance teams.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of program/portfolio and project management experience
  • Strong project/program management, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience working in creative marketing agencies or marketing organizations – understands marketing workflow and skillsets.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives
  • Effective multi-tasking skills with proven ability to support multiple programs/initiatives for multiple stakeholders while effectively managing conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work well in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent, proven organizational skills, including strong attention to detail and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of project management process groups (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, closing)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication and operational skills
  • Keen ability to prioritize, make quick decisions and delegate where appropriate
  • Strategic thinker and creative problem solver always looking for most optimal solution
  • Good planner; capability to “look around the corner” to determine risks and mitigating strategies
  • Calm and comfortable in ever-changing environment and especially with c-suite/executive leader level roles.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Enhanced capability to impact and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Impactful and persuasive communicator, both written and orally
  • Ability to flex, lead and navigate effectively through ambiguity
  • Create project plans and revise to meet changing requirements and deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and SharePoint)
  • Working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management certification or equitable experience
  • Experience working in creative marketing agencies or marketing organizations
  • Familiarity with Workfront a plus
  • Paid Media knowledge a plus
