Title: Nurse Practitioner (Float) – Primary Care / Urgent Care Clinic
Location: Villa Rica / Temple, GA (float coverage in surrounding area)

Hours: ~38 hours/week
Pay: $74.87/hr 

Role Overview

A leading retail-based healthcare clinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide primary care and urgent care services in a fast-paced, patient-facing clinic environment. This is a float position supporting clinic operations as needed.

Schedule

• Clinic hours:
• • Mon–Fri: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Sat: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Sun: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekends/Holidays: Typically 3 out of every 6 weekends + possible holiday rotation
• Orientation/Training: 40 hours/week, Mon–Fri for 4 weeks (required)

What You’ll Do

• Deliver evidence-based primary and family care (assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, disposition planning)
• Perform routine exams and diagnostic testing; treat common injuries/illnesses
• Coordinate care with a broader clinical care team
• Support clinic operations (opening/closing, inventory, follow-up, insurance verification/payment, maintaining a clean environment)
• Encourage patient engagement through health screenings, wellness, and chronic condition management

Required Qualifications (must-have)

• Active NP license in Georgia (in good standing; no current or prior disciplinary actions)
• National Board Certification
• Master’s degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Minimum 1 year of recent NP experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care
• BLS (AHA or ARC) — must provide proof
• Comfortable practicing autonomously; strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to pursue multi-state licensure (as needed)

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding (depending on scope/site needs)
• Float expectation: Must be open to occasional travel beyond the standard radius if business needs require
