Job Description
Title: Product Manager IV
Location: Detroit, MI (Position begins remote, but will transition to a hybrid schedule at some point)
Note: This role is NOT open to C2C candidates
The Product Manager will represent customers and stakeholders of new products. They will manage business/customer/stakeholder relationships and drive associated deliverable work priorities. They will strive to understand the product/product lines, the business goals, and anticipate their needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Working closely with the product delivery team articulating the product, vision, and strategy, supporting product development activities as required (e.g. journey & user mapping, sprint planning & grooming, ideation sessions, etc.)
- Managing processes of generating, developing, and curating new ideas brought by the business/customers/stakeholders
- Incorporating user research, proof of concepts, and pilots with customers to maintain product and market fit
- Managing the delivery of products and strategic initiatives from idea intake through coordination of supporting partners (e.g. customer rollout, Operations, Sales/Marketing, Call Center, Finance, etc.), as part of the continuous release cadence
- Planning and communicating product roadmap priorities and strategies to key stakeholders through coordination with the Product Director
- Recommending the nature and scope of present and future product improvements through deep analysis, understanding customers and the competitive landscape, and reviewing product specifications and requirements
- Identifying and maintaining product dashboards to monitor real-time product health and baselines to validate feature release, goals, and value, and further a deep understanding of the customer base
Position Requirements:
- Strong experience in a Product Manager/Owner role
- Strong experience in document management (storage, generation, exchange, etc.)
- Experience with intelligence capture tools, and an understanding of the business processes/systems they correlate to
- Experience creating platform roadmaps and prioritized backlogs (prioritizing business value), with reinvesting opportunities serving as the primary funding source for the platform
- Experience working with enterprise architects and other stakeholders in the documentation of platform and feature specifications, based on use cases
- Experience defining ongoing platform operational models
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or other relevant technical field; Master’s Degree, Technical Training, or additional Certifications highly preferred
