Production Assembler | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Sandy, UT 84070 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $17.50/hr
- Required Availability: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM + Sundays, 830p-5a
Production Assembler | Summary and Highlights:
The Production Assembler will perform tasks related to the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. Additionally, support equipment operation and perform quality inspections according to established procedures.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Production Assembler | Responsibilities:
- Assemble and package medical device components.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Perform in-process quality inspections.
- Follow established SOPs and safety protocols.
- Rotate into various tasks within a team environment.
Production Assembler | Requirements:
- Education: High school Diploma or GED
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience required.
- Comfortable using basic measurement tools (e.g., microscopes).
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and team collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work flexible or extended hours.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, basic arithmetic)
- Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred
