Production Operator – B Shift (6PM–6AM)

Location: Columbus, NE 68601
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr + $2.70/hr shift differential
Shift: B Shift – 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)
Work Weeks: Rotating 36- and 48-hour schedules, Monday–Sunday

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Production Operator – B Shift to support daily manufacturing operations. This role involves performing routine production functions such as filling, packing, assembling, labeling, inspecting, and utility operations under general supervision. Employees must comply with FDA regulations, GMPs, and ISO9000 standards. Team collaboration, adaptability, and consistent attendance are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine production tasks including filling, packing, labeling, assembling, and inspecting
• Conduct utility operations as needed to support production
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 standards
• Follow standard operating procedures under direct supervision
• Make effective decisions within the scope of routine tasks
• Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as required
• Work collaboratively to meet team goals and production objectives
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work flexible or extended hours as needed

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in production or manufacturing preferred
• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within assigned process areas
• Ability to apply basic knowledge to complete routine tasks
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English specifications
• Basic math skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing tasks
