Production Operator – C Shift (6AM–6PM, 12-Hour Rotating)

Location: Columbus, NE 68601
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift: C Shift – 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: 2-week rotating schedule
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
Background: Candidates may start with background pending – no drug test required

Position Overview

We are hiring Production Operators to perform routine production functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role includes tasks such as filling, packing, assembling, labeling, inspecting, and utility operations under general supervision. All work must comply with FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ISO9000 standards.

Candidates should be reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow standard operating procedures while rotating through various production tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine production tasks including filling, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, inspecting, and utility operations

• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 standards

• Follow standard operating procedures under direct supervision

• Develop skills in assigned tasks and apply knowledge to complete routine functions

• Make effective decisions within the scope of routine tasks

• Rotate between different tasks and responsibilities as assigned

• Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet production goals

• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors

• Work flexible and/or extended hours as needed

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and specifications in English

• Basic math skills for routine calculations

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing tasks
