Job Description
Title: Project Management Specialist III
Location: Work from Home
Note: This is a W2 contract role – C2C and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered
The Project Management Specialist is responsible for working with internal and external customers to scope projects, create work plans, track progress against work schedules, track budget progress and burn rates, keeping plans up to date, and publishing results and creating and presenting management reports on project outcome and statuses. They are also responsible for establishing project quality requirements and adhering to established methods of executing and tracking projects. They will be responsible for maintaining all active project plans in MS Project or other similar PPM software, and will be responsible for helping internal associates to learn and adopt these technologies
Position Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of project management experience
- A history of working in a shared service or BPO organization
- Strong understanding of Agile business processes, applying expertise in communication and working skills with diverse groups of people and skillsets
- Strong project scheduling skills, including the usage of PPPM software, such as Project and Project Server
- 1-2 years of customer facing experience preferred
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar field; Master's Degree in a relevant field preferred
