Title: Project Manager IV

Location: Charlotte, NC/Detroit, MI (Hybrid)

The Project Manager IV provides direction to product, service, or solutions teams by creating and maintaining functional specifications for each product. They will coordinate communication plans for multiple products, allocate and direct staff and other resources to accomplish project tasks, and maintain control over each product schedule. They are responsible for issue resolution within the project and delivery of IT solutions to fit the needs of the business. They will monitor the progress of product teams, informing the team of its progress, and providing teams with support and direction. They will act as team's primary interface to IT and Business Partners, working on projects with high complexity, size, and scope, as well as managing risks involved with the project. The Project Manager IV will determine new methods and develop new procedures for accomplishing work, providing work direction and assigning tasks to lower-level employees.

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; expert knowledge of Project Management methodologies, tools, and systems, as well as experience across the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with Confluence, ServiceNow, and Jira
• Experience operating in matrixed environments and across business lines/cross-functionally
• Experience with Quality Assurance management, concepts, and applications, including the latest SDP-21 version and CMMI methodologies
• Ability to manage IT projects high in complexity, size, and scope
• Ability to thoroughly understand business issues surrounding each project
• Ability to negotiate and deliver quality solutions to customers and develop process improvements, where applicable
• Ability to influence fundamental organizational change
• Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic customers and industry leaders
• Ability to create a climate of collaboration and teamwork among team members and customer groups
• Ability to apply new technical approaches to best resolve customer problems
• Ability to take decisive action when issues appear, taking full advantage of opportunities to develop personal skills; a desire to pursue professional development opportunities both within and outside the IT area
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and detail-orientation
• Ability to work independently, and complete work without receiving a lot of direction; self-starter
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant technical field; Master’s Degree, Technical Training, or additional Professional Certifications preferred
