Job Description
- Review and process credentialing applications and supporting documentation for provider enrollment in Medicaid and Medicare.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of Part B provider enrollment applications.
- Interact professionally with providers and staff representatives regarding required documentation.
- Track and follow up with providers for timely return of all required documents and applications.
- Validate data for provider databases and ensure adherence to customer requirements regarding contracting and credentialing.
- Execute standard operating procedures and communicate issues, trends, and suggestions to leadership.
- Ensure completion of workflow items within the set turnaround time, meeting quality expectations.
Critical Information
- Deadline-intense environment.
- On-site position.
Education/Licenses Needed
- 1-3 years of experience in a centralized credentialing office preferred.
- CPCS certification course completion or relevant job-related experience.
- Knowledge of PECOS and State Medicaid Enrollment applications.
