Job Title: Psychologist
Psychologist Location: Will need someone as soon as possible 100% on-site. Remote not an option.
Psychologist Shift/Hours: Shift: 9:00am-5:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm BUT will consider part time.
Psychologist Pay rate: $60 - $70 an hour. based on experience
Psychologist Length of contract: This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Job Title: Psychologist
Psychologist Location: Will need someone as soon as possible 100% on-site. Remote not an option.

- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Psychologist DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for provision of individual, group, and family therapy for inpatients as assigned by the Chief of Service and/or Inpatient Director.
- Responsible for psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, treatment plan updates, progress notes and discharge planning applications as assigned by Chief of Service and/or Inpatient Director.
- Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. Supervises psychology interns and externs as assigned by the Director of Psychology.
- Attends and participates in psychology department meetings and educational functions.
- Keeps abreast of current psychological theory, treatment and testing approaches designed to maintain and/or increase population specific therapeutic and diagnostic assessment skills. Supervises Level I Psychologists as assigned.
- Complete requisite trainings, e.g. Preventing and Management of Crisis Situations (PMCS), Basic Life Support (BLS), etc.
- May be responsible for supervising psychological testing on Unit as needed.
Psychologist Minimum Qualifications:
- A valid license as a Psychologist issued by the NYS Department of Education.
- This license must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
- Clinical psychologist degree is either a PhD or PsyD, plus a license to practice psychology (in NY).
