Masters Licensed Psychologist (Forensic) Compensation
- The pay for this position is $45.00 per hour.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
- The required availability for this position 37.5 hours per week with the option to work up to 40 if needed; Position Shift: 8a – 4pm (30 min lunch)
- Develops and maintains a plan for the Psychology Department which assures that appropriate psychological services are provided.
- Ability to supervise staff assign and coordinate work activities and monitors staff performance. Provide effective program leadership over multi-disciplinary management treatment planning and service delivery team
- Coordinates the psychological services program with other disciplines and integrates new policies and procedure into existing programs.
- Ensures compliance with applicable codes rules regulations and program procedures
- Develop policies / procedures as needed
- Consults with psychiatrist physicians and other professional personnel concerning diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic training programs
- Ensure the unit operates clinically and programmatically in an efficient effective manner with administrative fiscal and security guidelines
- Coordinate day to day operations including training in relevant areas of mental health and other topics / issues related to the specific treatment services
- Deliver some individual group and psycho-educational group treatment services.
- Collaborate with Medical Director / Supervisory Physicians regarding mental health diagnosis if applicable
- Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills including ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with a wide range of personalities.
- Competence in assessing interviewing and managing patients
- Commitment to enhancing cultural competency
- Perform other duties not outlined above as assigned.
- Doctoral degree in psychology or a licensed master level in Psychology.
- Licensed by the Pennsylvania board of licensing. If licensed by another state must secure Pennsylvania license within one year. At least 2 years' experience as a Licensed Psychologist
- One year of experience in a supervisory role of administrative capacity.
- Knowledge of cognitive-behavioral treatment methods mental health theories concepts and methods related to treatment and psychology testing of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals with dual diagnoses of IDD and MH.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
