Quality Control Inspector | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Sumter, SC 29153 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $16.50/hr
- Required Availability: Night Shift (8 PM – 8 AM), 3-2-2-3 rotating schedule
Quality Control Inspector | Summary and Highlights:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspection and testing activities to ensure products meet established quality standards and compliance regulations.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Quality Control Inspector | Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry regulations.
- Analyze inspection results and determine product disposition.
- Detect and report nonconforming conditions.
- Use calibrated equipment and follow maintenance and repair procedures.
- Maintain required licenses, certifications, and training.
- Identify and report basic regulatory non-compliance issues.
- Adhere strictly to quality guidelines and safety procedures.
Quality Control Inspector | Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1 + years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
- Proven ability to operate calibrated inspection equipment.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and work instructions.
- Good vision (20/30 or better with or without corrective lenses) and the ability to pass a color vision test (eye exam required prior to hire).
