Quality Inspector | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Zelienople 16063 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $16/hr
- Required Availability: 1st Shift | Flexible start times available
- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Quality Inspector | Summary and Highlights:
The Quality Control Inspector will perform a variety of inspection duties ensuring products meet industry and company standards. The successful candidate will support production by performing electrical, mechanical, and visual inspections of materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Quality Inspector | Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections following documented methods to ensure compliance with GMPs and ISO standards.
- Verify incoming goods for quality and accuracy against orders and shipping documents.
- Count, weigh, or measure incoming shipment items for validation.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Accurately document inspection results using computer systems.
Quality Inspector | Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable).
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong reading and interpretation skills of technical documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Work Environment:
- Combination of office-based and production floor responsibilities.
- Moderate noise levels, occasional exposure to mechanical equipment, temperature changes, and airborne particles.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, repetitive movements, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
