Quality Software Engineer Compensation
- The pay for this position is $59.03 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Quality Software Engineer Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position will be Workdays: M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Hybrid in Durham, NC location. 3 days in office/2 days at home.
Quality Software Engineer Responsibilities
- We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to contribute to a project that enhances pharmacy performance and device uptime through real-time analytics and detailed reporting.
- Pharmacy automation, involving robotics and automated systems, plays a vital role in dispensing, packaging, labeling, and organizing medications with precision and efficiency.
- Our solution leverages Apache Kafka for streaming real-time events, applications hosted on Azure IoT-based edge appliances, and Kubernetes to manage our cloud-based applications.

Quality Software Engineer Requirements
- 8 + years of experience in software testing or relevant work experience.
- Tools include: Postman, Azure DevOps, Selenium, Load Testing
- Understand human interaction with technology.
- Maintains a Completion-focused attitude and attentive to details.
- Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture.
- End to End Test Planning, Test Reports and Test Case Traceability
- Plans, coordinates, and compiles the appropriate testing data required for the testing effort
- Strong Communication skills both verbal and written to communicate with team and business stakeholders
- Single Page Application (SPA) framework e.g. Angular
- Micro Service Architecture
- Test automation
Education : - B.S. Computer Science degree or related degree
- Bonus Points :
- Knowledge of software development leveraged with hardware such as PLCs, automation robots and conveyor solutions is a plus.
- Cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Experience with IOT Edge
- Experience in Healthcare or pharmacy automation industry is a plus
