The R&D Tech - Medical Devices would be working for a major manufacturing company and has career growth potential.

R&D Tech - Medical Devices Highlights:

• Schedule: M-F [40hrs/week - 8hrs/day]

• Pay Range: $25.00 Hourly

R&D Tech - Medical Devices Responsibilities:

• Support research, development, testing, and manufacturing of medical device materials and technologies.

• Ensure compliance with GMP and ISO standards.

• Collaborate on cross-functional project teams (R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, etc.).

• Generate and manage Device Master Record documentation to support product development and validation.

• Identify and implement process and product improvements.

• Conduct Design of Experiments (DOEs), risk assessments, and test method validations (TMVs).

• Perform analytical, mechanical, and biochemical testing, including polymer synthesis and material characterization.

• Maintain design control systems and laboratory documentation.

• Follow all safety, health, environmental (SHE), and security protocols in compliance with Life Saving Rules.

R&D Tech - Medical Devices Qualifications:

• Ph.D., Master's, or Bachelor's in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or Polymer Science.

• Skilled in polymer and materials processing: synthesis, molding, casting, foaming, sterilization, etc.

• Proficient in analytical techniques: DSC, TGA, FTIR, GPC, HPLC, SEM, mechanical testing, and more.

• Experience with analytical method development and validation.

• Knowledge of engineering and quality tools (Six Sigma, DOE, DFM).

• Computer literacy: MS Office, CAD software (e.g., Pro/E).

• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

• Understanding of polymer/natural material science, anatomy, and surgical procedures.
