RN – Med-Surg/Tele
Job Description
RN – Med-Surg/Tele | Akron, OH 44304
Pay: $55/hr
Contract: 13 weeks (possible extension up to 1 year based on attendance & performance)
Unit: 3 North – 17-bed Med-Surg/Tele (epilepsy monitoring & medical overflow)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Scrubs: Solid black
RN – Med-Surg/Tele Requirements
- Active RN license
- 2+ years of recent RN experience
- BLS & ACLS required
- NIHSS required
- Must show EPIC experience within the last 12 months
- Must be able to draw blood & start IVs
- Charge nurse experience required — must appear on resume
- Floating required
- Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE only)
RN – Med-Surg/Tele Job Expectations
- Ratios: 1:5
- Nurse will work some shifts as Charge RN
- No block scheduling
- Max 7 days RTO allowed at submission (more = auto-rejection)
RN – Med-Surg/Tele Additional Notes
- Solid black scrubs required
- 13-week assignment with strong potential for extension
