A-Line Staffing is now hiring a RN - Emergency Department (Travel) in Summit, NJ. The RN - Emergency Department would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This is a 13-week travel contract.

RN - Emergency Department (Travel) Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $2,500 per week.
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

RN - Emergency Department (Travel) Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
  • The required availability for this position is 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

RN - Emergency Department (Travel) Responsibilities

  • Perform systematic, comprehensive assessments for patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric.
  • Deliver competent, patient-focused nursing care in an emergency department setting.
  • Maintain complete, accurate documentation aligned with policies and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Utilize emergency equipment and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) orders and ensure timely completion of patient tests.

RN - Emergency Department (Travel) Requirements

  • Active RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required for pediatric ER only).
  • 1 year of experience in Critical Care, Cardiac, or Emergency Department nursing.
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the job location.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
