Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the MedSurg unit, offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and professional development. This direct-hire position is ideal for experienced RNs with a background in acute care, particularly those interested in both MedSurg and Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) training. Staff will be cross-trained on various patient care, including BIPAP, Airvo, titratable drips, cardiac monitoring, and more.

Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct, quality care for patients in the MedSurg and CCU settings. Administer medications, monitor vitals, assist with procedures, and provide patient education.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, support staff, and specialists to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Documentation: Accurately record patient information, treatment plans, and progress.
- Patient & Family Support: Be a compassionate advocate for patients and their families, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Position Qualifications
- Required:
- Diploma in Nursing or an ASN/BSN
- CPR certification
- Experience as an RN in an acute care setting is required for consideration.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with lifting up to 100 pounds (lifting requirements may vary based on the department).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
