A-Line Staffing is now hiring a RN -Outpatient Surgery. This will be full time.

RN -Outpatient Surgery Hours

  • 2 openings
  • 3x12 hour shifts
  • Can choose preferred shift

RN -Outpatient Surgery Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $40.00-44.00 an hour paid weekly
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

RN -Outpatient Surgery Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative experience
  • Perform pre-operative assessments, including patient history review, medication reconciliation, vital signs, and patient education
  • Prepare patients for surgery by initiating IV access, administering medications, and verifying surgical consents and time-out procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and surgical flow
  • Monitor patients intra-procedure and post-procedure, assessing for complications and responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
  • Deliver post-anesthesia care, including pain management, airway monitoring, and discharge readiness assessments
  • Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions, medications, wound care, and follow-up appointments

RN -Outpatient Surgery Requirements

  • Licensed RN
