Job Description
Immunizing Nurse (RN) / Immunizing Pharmacist (CWP) – Central California Clinics
Location: Central CA (multiple clinic sites near Merced/Modesto/Turlock/Fresno)
Schedule: Typical clinic hours 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM; schedule varies. Must be flexible for clinic needs.
Pay: $55/hr – $65/hr (DOE + location)
High-volume vaccination clinics are hiring Immunizing Nurse (RN) and Immunizing Pharmacist professionals. This is a patient-facing immunization role—fast, organized, and documentation-heavy. Most hires function as a float and may work at multiple stores in the region (sometimes up to ~1 hour away).
Responsibilities
- Administer Flu/COVID/Shingles/MMR and other vaccines per protocol
- Screen patients and provide vaccine education + after-care guidance
- Complete documentation accurately and completely
- Float to nearby stores as assigned
Qualifications
- CA RN license + BLS OR CA Pharmacist license + APhA (or equivalent) immunization cert
- Usually requires 1+ year related experience (new grads generally not approved)
- If license/BLS expires before 12/31/2026, include renewal plan + expected date
- Must provide specific availability (days + times)
- No starts before 8/24/2026
- Mileage reimbursement: only miles over 50/day roundtrip when floating from home store; parking/tolls case-by-case.
