Job Description
Job Title: RN Immunizing Nurse (Clinic Float)
Location: Harrisburg, PA + regional float (Harrisburg, Gettysburg, Hershey, Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Hanover, State College & Greensburg, PA)
Pay: $43.40–$49.04/hr
Schedule: Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat — 10:00 AM–6:30 PM (high flexibility required)
Start Date: Not eligible to start before 08/24/2026
Role Overview:
Clinic-based Registered Nurse (RN) providing in-store immunizations and patient education. Must be comfortable as a float RN supporting multiple CVS locations in the region, depending on daily demand.
Key Duties:
- Immunizations: Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine vaccines
- Patient counseling + vaccine education
- Documentation accuracy + HIPAA compliance
- Clinic workflow support (intake, basic assessments, safe medication practices)
- Floating to nearby stores (may be up to ~1 hour from the home store)
Required Qualifications:
- Active PA RN license
- BLS certification
- 1+ year RN experience including immunization + direct patient care
- HS Diploma/GED
Compliance Note (End of 2026):
License/BLS should be valid through 12/31/2026; if expiring earlier, provide a renewal timeline.
Mileage & Travel:
Mileage reimbursed only when traveling from the home store to another store and back, only if roundtrip exceeds 50 miles/day (only miles over 50 reimbursed). Parking/tolls may be reimbursed case-by-case with approval.
