IT Technical Support/desktop Support in Lincoln, RI - Multiple Positions Available!
  • Shift Hours:
  • 8-hour shift starts between 8 and 10am, Mon – Fri
  • 8-hour shift start between 10 and 12 Mon – Fri
  • 8-hour shift start between 5am and 8am. Mon – Fri

Tier 1 Technical Support:
  • Responsible for supporting Troubleshooting hardware, repairing desktops and laptops
  • It Technical Support responsibilities include identifying computer issues, installing hardware and software, making updates, running performance tests, handling maintenance, and guiding non-technical staff.
  • responsible for basic customer issues
  • Tier I specialist is to gather the customer’ s information and to determine the customer’ s issue by analyzing the symptoms and figuring out the underlying problem
  • Once identification of the underlying problem is established, the specialist can begin sorting through the possible solutions available.
  • Resolving username and password problems, uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, verification of proper hardware and software set up, and assistance with navigating around application menus.

  • HS Diploma or GED
