Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Compensation

• The pay for this position is $57 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
• The required availability for this position is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including weekdays and rotating weekends.

Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Responsibilities

• Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients, including general diagnostic radiology exams.
• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for the examination.
• Review clinical data, analyze anatomical structures, and perform CT scans with proper diagnostic techniques.
• Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor patients for potential reactions.
• Assist Radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies.
• Ensure high-quality image delivery into PACS and complete all necessary documentation.
• Demonstrate radiation protection principles and adhere to clinical protocols.

Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Must be self-directed, flexible, and open to new learning experiences.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

• May work in a hospital with a fixed unit or in a mobile unit.
• Potential exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and contagious patients.
• Occasionally may lift/move equipment or patients exceeding 10 lbs.
